On a path to building his footwear resume and empire, Salehe Bembury is soon to drop a collaboration with American shoe brand Crocs following his latest partnerships with New Balance and Anta. But much like any new collaboration or drop, the empty details leave consumers with much anticipation on what to expect. However, the ex-Versace designer has given us some insight to this partnership via his Instagram stories and posts, but with very little specifics. That initially started at the top of the year back in February with a shared video on his Instagram but it wasn’t until recently where he shared his drawings and live images of the product. Though these aren’t “confirmed” as official designs, you can get an idea of what to expect. Somewhat of a fingerprint-like outer-shell with a couple of cut outs in addition to a strap along the heel.

Though Crocs has quite a few partnerships with the likes of Justin Bieber, Post Malone, Bad Bunny, and Chinatown Market (to name a few), Bembury’s design does not resemble the traditional clog-like style in which those collabs’ designs had remained unaltered to its original silhouette where it seems that Salehe was given full creative range to “open a new mold” as he says.

As we patiently wait for more info from Crocs and Salehe, here’s a glimpse of what he’s been teasing us with.
